Hello everyone. I'm 35. Married to an older transgender (male to female). We're parents together. Was married to a sweet, young man (heterosexual), before. Just trying to be normal and straight. Didn't work. Ended up hurting bis feelinfs, unfortunately. Now, I'm trying to come to grips with being gay. Or 'non-heterosexual', as I call it. I'm too scared and ashamed to admit it. But it won't be denied anymore. I long to be free and feel good about myself. And finally be strong enough to say: 'I'm gay. I'm a lesbian. I matter. I have the right to love who I want. ' For now. Im scared shitless and filled with shame. Hopefully, I can start this journey here.
Welcome Tobegay! I'm sure you will get through this. I know it may seem impossible right now, but the darkest night is truly just before the dawn. Cliché... maybe... But I know this to be true from experience. Keep your chin up.
