I have been experiencing a lot of depression lately. I live in a conservative area so it's kind of hard to believe this is a totally safe place to be out and gay. In our area gay means both men and women. Is that ok to use the word gay in reference to myself?
Sure, it means the same thing (I think?) Lol and yeah I can sympathize. My town is kind of on a social borderline between liberal and conservative areas, so I'm fairly surrounded by irrational people who would judge me for such things I'm doing with my life.
Hi I'm from the UK, but my friend Dana is from Minnesota originally, and is visiting her family there now. So I imagine you must know her - just how big can Minnesota be? Lol. Reading your words I suddenly thought "I don't recognise that Minnesota from the things Dana has said about her home state." Which makes me think there must be a whole other world of non-conservative minnesotans out there - you just need to find them, perhaps? Good luck
