Hi everybody, I've been reading this forum for a while and I finally decide to present myself. My story of coming out with my sexual orientation (I like women) and with my gender (born female, gender.. N/A right now) is super long and tortuous (really too long for a single post!), so I'm skipping it for the moment. I decided to join this forum because questioning my gender is really taking a toll on my life right now and I've been having a lot of mental distress and super bad bodily dysphoria. So I came here hoping to find someone else to talk to who can really understand what I'm going through. Thanks, JT
How old are you darling? Have you ever talked to anyone in person about this? I don't have much advice, just hang in there and follow your heart
Hey, and welcome! We're kind of in the same boat here, so if you want anyone to talk to, feel free to shoot me a message! Hope you enjoy it here! (*hug*)
Thanks to all of you for your support! (and the bananas! (!)(!)) I talked about my GID to 2/3 friends who were really supportive but didn't really know how to help me with my dysphoria. I also have a therapist who has been helping me figuring my gender out (and most of all accepting it), considering that all the process is complicated in my head because of past experiences. So, in the end, I'm pretty lucky with the people I'm surrounded. But I still feel the need to talk to someone who really understands what if feels like to be freaked out by your own body. So, thanks to all of you! @HeadInClouds, I'm 32 :tears: (Well, better later than never)
Hey JoshuaTree (great album by the way). Welcome to EC! Sounds like you're having a tough time, but hang in there mate. There's gold at the end of the rainbow. Feel free to ask questions in the forums. There's several people on here that you'll probably find something in common with. Good luck and peace be with you.
