I don't suppose 28 is too late - but it feels pretty old when you consider the fact that all my friends have been married a few years now and I in the process of having babies.

I've dated men all my life - almost serial monogamy, actually, and have ended every single one of my relationships. I lose interest, attraction, I feel a massive disconnect after the initial chemistry period is over. I've been closeted to myself for a very long time, due to my people-pleasing nature, my desire to be loved and liked by others, and my faith (that for a long time was still maturing).

I am a practicing minister, I work with youth. I work at a progressive Christian church and I finally feel at home. Before that I attended Quaker meetings for worship (Society of Friends) and found them to be soul-nurturing and wonderful. I will probably remain close to the Quaker way of spirituality my whole life, because it's beautiful, simple, just, inclusive, and loving.

Other than that, I have 6 guinea pigs! I rescued 4 of them (2 were foster piglets that I adopted after their mother gave birth to them). I love animals, and have always had pets. I especially love small fluffy ones.

My hobbies are diverse and eclectic mix. I love arts and crafts, science fiction, reading, video games, music, talking walks, geocaching, volunteering, opera, theatre, hiking, canoeing, going for a run, and so on!

Thanks! It's a blessing and a curse. I rarely get bored, but I am always busy and tired, and I'm not especially talented at any one thing because I am always trying something new!

Welcome! It's never too late to understand yourself better. As a cradle Catholic, I can understand the religious pressure to live the straight life.
