Hey guys, I'm Alex and I'm 17 years old. I've been struggling with my sexuality since I was about 12. I've known I've liked men since I was about 10 though. I haven't taken one step out of the closet (unless you count this), so advice here and there would be adored. I'm pretty sure I'm mostly gay, but I've been infatuated with women on a couple of occasions; so I'm not really all that sure. It's nice to find somewhere wehere everyone can be open, and everyone's so willing to help. So... Thanks, I guess :icon_wink.

Hi Alex, and welcome to EC. This site is a great place to be yourself, and finding what is right and what is not for you. And as for the proverbial closet - well I have only come out twice but from that experience and reading from others, a common theme seems to be that people come out when they are so aware and secure in themselves that staying in is more awkward than being out ... and more often than not it feels great!
