Just thought I'd make my first post before I ask a few questions in other forums. I'm a 22 year old lesbian, been out since I knew I was gay and have never looked back. I struggle with getting acceptance from my family as well as my gender expression. I've never felt ashamed of who I am in terms of orientation or gender, so I'm always happy to talk to anybody who needs advice or guidance. I'm happy to have found this site and I hope it will be a great place to talk to people about the issues I have that straight people never seem to understand.
Welcome! I know exactly what you mean-- a lot of my straight friends are supportive, but they just don't get it. I hope you enjoy it here.
Welcome and yea, i can understand the part about straight people not understanding and struggling with who you are
Hello and welcome to EC! You're not alone, we all struggle with acceptance. Wish you lots of fun here and feel free to ask anything, we're all here to help each other. Enjoy!
