Six months ago I would never have believed I would be saying Hi in a forum like this yet here I am. Hi :smilewave I've sort of known for ages that I was probably gay (or at least curious) but never thought I'd actually admit it to anybody else, and as the years go by that was looking less and less likely. Yet one night out & lots of beers later and suddenly you've said the words. He's an awesome (straight) guy and having someone out there that knows the real me and is there for me is a great feeling. But that's only 1 small step, and I don't know if I'm even ready to take the next but I'm hoping by joining EC it will help make the choices clearer.
Well it's great that you are coming to terms!!! And the fact that you are here, introducing yourself is amazing and brave I hope that you are able to make new friends who will make this experience a lot more enjoyable than it already is haha I hope that we are able to help you and that you are able to share with our younger members(I'm pretty young haha) what you experienced and also that you are able and willing to share your future experiences with this wonderful community Good luck If you ever need a friend don't hesitate to contact me
Hello fellow Brit and welcome to EC! Don't sweat it! We all come to terms with being gay at different times Loads of guys come out in their 40's. EC is a great place to go on to help come to terms with your sexuality and make loads of friends. Once you come out to one person it gets easier to come out to others, but don't feel pressured to tell everyone. Relax and take it at your own time

Thank you all so much for taking the time to say hi and offer your support. It was totally unexpected but very much appreciated. To "thisisallnew" in particular, if reading this helped in some small way then it makes me so glad I took the time to write. It really feels good to "talk" about it and get some of this off my chest, I would like to write some more soon.
