Welcome to EC, I hope you find the sight useful and you enjoy your stay. While I'm not an expert in the area you're asking, I don't think food is a good idea. I've heard stories of there being medical accidents with food going in and then not returning and required A&E treatment. I'd recommend buying safety assured products online if you're uncomfortable buying from shops.
