Heyo, new guy here. Let me begin by saying I'm a somewhat older gent (under 40 for the time being) who is bi. Not exactly questioning who and what I am, although I am just now starting to accept it. Yep, I'm one of those : the "oh deary me I can't be non-het, I'm a good boy." I suppose, deep down, though, I've always known I have an innate queerness ( is that even a word? or a thing?). Only in the last couple weeks have I really started accepting it. And, tbh, I have no clue what to do next. A couple of online friends know, but we only chat on occasion. If/when I do come out, there will be unavoidable consequences. I also want to be "involved", if you take my meaning. Activism runs in my veins, another thing to consider. So, thought I'd dive into the online community and found you guys. (Thanks Google!) Ready? Good! Let's rock! (!)
Welcome to the site Kestrel, you've certainly come to the right place if you're looking to explore the following stages of your life in terms of coming out to others. No matter what age of background everyone is here to give advice, answer question and generally be beside each other as support for the road ahead. I'm not too well-read on American pride events, however I'm sure Tennessee will have some if you search around for organizations. If not, there's neighboring states that will certainly have things to get yourself stuck into. Enjoy your stay!
Hello and welcome. We are pretty close in age (under 40) and circumstances, it seems. If you need a friend, chat me up. Here for you. Cheers:smilewave
