Hello everyone! I am 28 and am happy to have found this place. My journey has been quite long, but I've finally come to the place where I have come to accept my sexuality. It is still a process and I have difficult days but have found some measure of peace since I accepted it. Looking forward to getting involved here!
Hello! I'm Devon. I technically joined this site a few months ago, but only really started getting involved today, though I wish I could have worked up the nerve sooner. From my experience, the people on here are really awesome and supportive, so you shouldn't have any problem fitting right in! ((I still feel like a total creeper, invading on people's threads like this, especially when I'm the first to reply, but someone's gotta do it...))
Thank you, everyone, for the welcomes! And Resu, since I can't yet send you a PM or post on your wall, I'll answer the "are (were) you Catholic?" here. I still go to Mass every week because I cantor for a Gregorian chant schola, and I do love the music, but my belief/faith has eroded over the past several months. I was once called the discalced cantor by a priest once, because I rarely wear shoes (I hate wearing them, actually) so that's kind of stuck. The "tierce" part of my username refers to a stop on the organ, which I play. Again, thank you everyone for the warm welcomes, and I look forward to getting more involved.
