Hiya! My name's Ashe. Or at least, that's what I want it to be. Not Ashley or Ashton, but Ashe. I've known I was Pansexual for a while now, but more recently, I've also realized I'm agender. I REALLY want to start dressing and presenting myself androgynously, but my parents made it clear they have NO idea of anything outside the gender binary when I came out as pansexual the past week. They said they'd do research, so I'm waiting for a little bit, and then having my aunt (who is a lesbian) help me finish coming out to them. When I'm not having anxiety over my gender and sexuality, I enjoy playing video games and watching cartoons and anime. I also enjoy writing poetry and fiction! I came here to try and make some like-minded friends, because although I live about an hour away from St. Louis, rural Illinois doesn't exactly have a thriving LGBT community.
Hey, welcome!! I'm glad your parents are at least considering accepting your identity and that you have supportive family members. I wanna see some of your poetry haha ^^
Hi, welcome to the site! I'm new too... not from rural Illinois I'm afraid, but the United Kingdom. Hope you make some friends here! Does your aunt have any LGBT friends or contacts? I know they'd be a lot older, but it's a start...
Tons! Unfortunately, none close to me. She lives in L.A. and is just coming to visit for a while. Anyways, thanks for the warm welcomes everyone! I love this place already! <3
Hello and welcome, Ashe! It's a pleasure meeting you and having you here. I hope you'll enjoy your time on here! Hope to see you around. Lots of love, Andy
Welcome. One of the good things about EC is the way it connects people around the world who would otherwise feel really isolated. I live in a fairly rural part of the UK where little seems to happen for LGBT people, so I kind of understand how it feels. Hope you enjoy feeling a bit more connected to like minded people. We'd like to be part of your remaining journey.
