Hi, folks. I'm a newbie and happy to find the site. I'm a 47-year-old male who recently came out to his wife of 14 years and two young kids. I am a PhD student in Canada who recently moved WAY south to a VERY red state (conservative) to work and be close to my kids. They moved down with their mom about a year ago. The transition has been tough since I'm not out of the closet except to family and closest friends. There's not much of a gay community here in my small city, and even if there were I'd be afraid of participating much since my work pretty much depends on me NOT being gay! I'm a minister of 23 years in a Christian denomination that is not accepting of LGBT folks. I am working to transition out so that I can FINALLY be out everywhere. I. cannot. freaking. wait. I look forward to your wit and wisdom, lovely people! Peace!
(*hug*) I'm not sure if I believe in God or not, but I do believe in (brotherly) love. I can't even imagine how your situation feels, you are incredibly brave just for finally dare to live your life with honesty. I admire you :eusa_clap Yeah, well, welcome and all that too...
