I won a lot of money! (a lot to me, anyway!)

    $1500!

    $1106.57 after taxes, but still!

    They had this thing at work where you read their monthly magazine and answer questions about some of the articles, and if you send that in and were right, they do a drawing. In the whole region, I was chosen as the winner! I got a plaque and got to meet this regional guy from the company ^^ it was so great!

    This couldn't have come at a better time, too! After a recent visit to the dentist, I was down to $30 to last until payday, which made $3 for food per day! Now I can buy everybody dinner! Awesome!!!

    I'm putting it all in the bank to remove some of the temptation to spend it on something stupid. I'll be using the money for my dentist visits, and hopefully to save up for a car ^^

    Way cool!! I wish my job would do that, sadly, the public school system (especially in AZ) does not have extra cash.

    Thanks so much guys!!! It feels so good to be financially sound right now! The way things were going, I wasn't going to be able to afford my share of the rent, but now, I not only payed off my share for the month already, but I also took my roomates out to dinner at a nice (pricey!) Italian restaurant!
