    I am the mother of a 15 year old who recently informed me she was gay. I am here to learn and better understand her, not judge her. We've always had a wonderful relationship and I want her to feel that nothing has changed and that my love for her is unconditional. I also look forward to making many new friends.

    I'm a gay man that didn't come to that realization until I was 35 and already married with 2 little girls. Life throws us all kinds of challenges. I'm glad you're looking to better understand your daughter - and this is a great place to come to terms with her orientation.

    I love to see a mum who comes here because she wants to understand. It's how parents should be; willing to learn about their children, for the sake of their relationship. A lot of parents don't understand their kids after a while, and grow distant.
