Hey, my name is Neal and I'm 15 years old and gay. I've never been attracted to girls and first remember being attracted to a male back in 5th grade. Since then, I have become very comfortable with the fact that I am who I am and it's not going to change. I am very fortunate to be involved in a supportive and predominantly homsexual enviroment at my church and am currently out to four people, all of whom have been extremely helpful. My parents, although very sweet, are both homophobic. My mom and dad goe off on an absolute tangent whenever gay marriages are mentioned on the news, this obviously makes me very uncomfortable. In addition my mother is very overprotective and never leaves my side which makes telling people rather difficult. I have turned towards the internet for advice on how to come out to my parents. Anyway, neat forum and I hope to make new friends!
