Hi, my name's not english, but I guess it sounds kinda like Eugene. I'm 20 and I live in Ukraine, which you probably have heard of in recent news. Eastern europe is still very hostile towards the gay community, so I'm really afraid of coming out, as it can ruin my life. It would be nice to find somebody here to chat with and maybe make friends.
Hello there! Welcome to the forum. You're right, Eastern Europe is not the best place to be LGBT right now. I'm really sorry that you live in such a hostile place. Don't worry, I'm sure you will find some great advice and support here.
Thanks, Glenn) Most of the foreigners don't even realize how much of a problem it is here. I've literally been beaten unconcsious by total strangers on the street just for holding my boyfriends hand a number of times. This got into boxing, had to defend myself. Coming out was never an option and it still isn't. Currently I am looking for the ways to leave the country at least for getting my masters degree, I thought maybe I could get some advice on that here) And I am sorry in advance for all the mistakes I make, still learning english :3
