Hi everyone, I'm not really that great at these sort of introduction type things. I just recently graduated college with a B.A in English. In between jobs right now. The dream job is to be a published author, so writing is my go to hobby. Growing up I wasn't really sure about my orientation, since I wasn't aware of anything other than gay or straight. So by my logic I knew that I liked girls, so I must be straight. Also, it took a long time for me to be able to come out to myself since I was pretty severly in denial. I came out to myself I think about 3 years ago now (give or take) and started to come out to others a little over a year ago. I'm not really sure what I'm looking for in this site to be honest. It just seemed like a good place. Not really sure what else to say but feel free to ask me anything. I wont promise that I'll answer every question but dont let that stop you from trying. But yeah, AMA
Welcome to EC. If you've started coming out that's great, but it really is a journey for all of us and it helps to share it. Maybe you will find something through shared experience as a member of this forum? Good to have you onboard.
Thanks for the welcome Patrick It really is a journey. I feel like every time I come out to someone it is its own journey. While coming out is not a one and done experience; the journies get easier each time. On the other hand, some are more difficult than others. So perhaps EC will help with the more difficult aspects of all this.
