Hi everyone... I am new! Finally decided to join. A little bit about me - I'm 24 years old and currently with my first girlfriend. We've been together for a little over a year! We joke that I'm a "baby lesbian" as she's been out since she was 8. I, on the other hand, came out last year when I finally told my girlfriend how I felt. We've been friends since high school but I hadn't figured out what my situation was then. I honestly had the perfect coming out experience.. my family was super supportive, my friends were supportive, there was no hate whatsoever. There really isn't much of a gay community in my area because I'm in mostly a rural small town environment. I'm just hoping to meet people and make some friends! My girlfriend is away at basic training and it's the longest we've been apart since we began officially dating. I feel like my friends are as supportive as they can be but I would have a group that I can be open and honest with and hopefully have some similarities that I can relate to! Well now that I've written a book. That is all!
