    Hi everyone!

    I'm joining this forum looking for advice, but first I want to introduce myself. Let's see: I love science fiction, punk rock, jazz, comic books, and bee & puppycat (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PL2DcNkn8HAwQLcXTiDB876bU13hT0OhsZ) among other things. I'm a painter, a computer programmer, and a writer. What else? I'm from the USA (Georgia). I'm a recent college graduate.

    It may take me a few days to work up the nerve to write about my problems. Plus, I need to figure out the right part of the forum to post them in. :wink: In the meantime, hi! Nice to meet you all.

    enid....Hey Welcome!!! EC is a great place to get all kinds of things figured out. So take your time, gather your thoughts and then jump right in!! What kind of sci-fi do you like? Name some authors or books. I have hundreds of Sci-Fi books and am a real freak when it comes to almost any kind of sic-fi too! David

    Thanks for the welcome messages! Sorry for taking so long to respond... it's a busy time in my life right now.

    @resu and @quebec: I have read Dune! A great book, though the sequels get kind of bizarre. :wink: And I like all kinds of SF. Some faves: Ursula Le Guin, Gene Wolfe, Neal Stephenson, Douglas Adams, Phillip Dick.
