Hey everybody! I'm Matt Found this site randomly but it seems like such a great place. Have struggled with my sexuality most of my life. I have no male, gay friends or anyone I can really confide in so I'm hoping this will be an outlet. Just want to start meeting nice, down to earth people who share a common interest and who I can be myself around. Glad to be here!
Welcome to Empty Closets, it's good to have you on board. It can feel a bit isolating when you don't know anyone who is gay, but this forum should give you a place where you can chat to like minded people and get advice and support if you need it. While you are a regular member you can chat to other members via your wall (but you will need to make 10 forum posts first). After a few weeks and fifty posts you can apply for full membership and maybe chat to other full members privately. It's a good place to be. Just remember the rules - no offsite contact info or spam to be shared on the forum or your wall and be respectful to others. If in doubt check first. Join in and make yourself known to us.
Hey Matt...welcome! EC is a really great place to start that whole process and a good place to really start to find out more about yourself. If you're like many of us, you don't really understand who you are at first. Why you have these feelings that make you fell like you don;t fit in, etc., well EC is a place where you can find those answers. Here kids find a tremendous amount of support...just ask a question and stand back because rarely will you get just one answer! You can be you here and find others that share common interests. When you're down it's a good place to find encouragement and when you are facing a problem, there are hundreds here who have worked through the same problem. We're glad to have you. Welcome to EC!!
