Hey everyone, Just joined and thought I should introduce myself. I came out to my best friend about 10 months ago and have slowly been in the process of coming out to everyone around me. I have told my parents and sister and they are all extremely supportive of me. I can't believe how incredibly lucky I am to have such supportive friends and family. I know that some of my "friends" claim that they are supportive of me when, in actuality they talk negatively behind my back. I have recently started a new job and am wondering if I should come out to them as well. I am here looking for advice but also hopefully help others as well. Mary:icon_bigg

Hey, welcome to EC! Sounds like your coming out was very similar to mine - some supportive friends, some friends who only pretend to be supportive, and great family support.
