Hello, I've been reading some posts on here a few weeks now and decided to register. I'm 23 and from Scotland. I came out to my mum last year and she was just "yeah I knew" lol but although I've not had a boyfriend since I was 16 I have slept withe this one guy a few times over the last few years, he's a friend and I told him too, he just laughed and didn't care it gave me the guts to realise I was just not into it at all and have been into women for a very long time. Nice intro, thanks. In my novice opinion you've taken a good first step. I recently joined and myself trying to figure out how best to use ECs. (Empty Closets) With reference to your post you state, ~"very long time". I myself did not know for a long time. So you have one up on me. For me the shame was so severe the indirect criticism from my family so painful, I blocked out all processing of who I was. And you mom sound cool. Good luck.
