Hello everyone! I'm one of those shy dudes, so I'm not very good at introductions. My name is Jake. I'm 21 and still trying to figure out my life. I have known I have been gay since I had a crush on my bestfriend in 3rd grade.:icon_wink I was one of those inscured kids growing up and never felt like I fitted in with any certain group. I was always in denial of my sexuality growing up, although that is because of my parents. Over the years I have become more confertable about saying that I'm gay. I have come out to a few people and my anixety went through the roof the first time I did. I wanted to join this forum to be more confident in myself and being able to talk more about LGBT stuff. I only had one gay friend and one bi friend so I feel like I don't know as much about the LGBT community as I should Hoping to learn from everyone and have fun!
Welcome! My name's Ashley, nice to meet you! I'm glad that you're becoming more and more comfortable with being yourself. That's a great thing. I also love your username. It sounds super cool. Also, that show was awesome. I was 10, granted, but it was amazing

Thanks again for the nice welcome everyone! It always a bummer being the new kid. I am new too, so nothing to worry about. It just take time.
Hello there Jake! I think I can relate on your mentions of insecurities and not fitting into a group, during school especially this is something I found hard to deal with. After having anxiety issues over the first coming out, I'm really pleased for you that you were able to come out to more people since. I hope the people you came out to have responded well =) I have never known anyone gay or bi outside of online communities and I too have learnt a lot from talking to people, especially on here. Hope you can do the same too. If you want to chat, feel free to post on my wall! Best, David.
