Hi y'all! I'm kinda sorta a newbie. I've been a member of the forum since 2013 apparently. I just never posted. >.> Um, a bit about me... I'm a tech-geek and retired, in my 40s and also... an intellectual. I'm always thinking about this or that and theorizing about that or this--especially when it comes to global affairs. I studied sociology in college years ago and it has stuck with me like peanut butter to jelly. lol I can't stop thinking about sociological terms and concepts, so if you find me musing about this or that on the forum and speaking sociologese, that's why. I love talking about technology. I have a few Android tablets, Nook tablets, Windows PCs... as well as a few Macbooks. >.> Um, what else? I also have carpal tunnel syndrome 'cause I loved technology a bit too much so I might not... I probabably won't be as active as I want to be, but I'll try. I think I'll like this site. It seems like a safe forum--a safe, little corner of the World Wide Web. We all need a safe place, especially GLBTQ persons. Oh, one more thing... I love books. I like talking about books I'm currently reading and... ebooks--in particular ebooks. I have a ton of 'em. That's all for now! : )
