Um, I'm kinda new to this kind of thing. I'm Andy and I'm just looking for friends with similar interests, so I thought this might be the right place to find them. I'm not out to many people, especially about my gender identity, but thankfully most of my friends are accepting and I don't have to hide too much. My family though is quite homophobic and transphobic, so this could be a problem... I'm interested in music and literature and I'm a writer and a musician myself. I also love watching TV shows (Doctor Who, In the Flesh, Sherlock and American Horror Story are some of my favorites) and films (especially old ones). I genuinely hope I'll have fun here
Hi Andy! I am also new to this site. The users on this site are very kind and willing to help others in the LGBT community! I hope you feel comfortable and enjoy your time here. I am just beginning to feel comfortable about being bisexual, but I have not told anyone yet. I think my friends will be accepting, but I'm still a bit nervous. Maybe I will gain the courage soon! Have a great day! -Lindsey
Hi Andy! There's more newbies around, like myself. I looove In the Flesh, I hate that they cancelled it! I'm a massive tv series nerd, so if you're looking to swap tips on what to watch, just give us a shout! Or whatever else too, of course
Isn't it! I especially loved the last season, despite the negative critique it received ---------- Post added 5th Apr 2015 at 01:25 PM ---------- I know right, I started watching it right after they announced they're cancelling it, I was so disappointed. Yay, I'm a TV series nerd too *high-fives you*
*high-fives back* Yeah, that was at damn stupid decision of them to make! I would've loved to see more of Emmett Scanlan, even though he shaved the tash haha!
Hi Andysays and LindseyF123.... That's three of us new to this site then. I've very similar interests to you Andy (Massive Who fan), so great to have you here. Part of my family though are quite homophobic and transphobic too, which does complicate things, but I've got good friends who are understanding. I'm just beginning to feel comfortable about being bisexual Lidsey, but I've not told many at the moment. You are right. Everyone here is so lovely and my confidence is growing. Sending you both friend requests. Hope that's OK. (!)
