Hi everyone, I'm really awkward so I don't know what to say but hi, I hope someone replies then I'll feel less awkward.
Hi Thanks for replying I've been looking for somewhere to talk about my gender and I found here so I thought I'd try it out.
Awh. I'm sorry to hear that. There are plenty of people on here who you could talk to about that on here, including myself
Well I recently came out as bigender to my parents and they just really don't get it. Whenever I'm acting feminine (I'm biologically male) they say stuff like they're 'perturbed' or that I'm 'being a weirdo'.
I don't have any experience with that, as I'm not bigender. Have you fully explained the term 'bigender' to them? I hope they start understanding the term soon as I know how frustrating it can be with parents who don't grasp onto things quite easily.
Then that may be their problem. It seems they may be in denial. This theory comes from them not wanting to see you act like your non-biological gender. We don't have to believe things if you can't see it, you know?
Just keep being you! Ask them if they have questions, if you haven't already, and explain it to them. Sometimes it takes time for family to fully accept you.
Ok thanks, I should probably get some sleep now so I'll see you around. I'll be back on here sometime I think, the people here seem nice
