Hi! I'm new to this forum. I'm a 28 year old lesbian living in Arizona currently. Never really used a forum before, but I figured this one seemed very warm and welcoming. I'm here to meet some cool folks and talk to people who are actually like me.
I'm also new, but instead of making my own thread I figured I'd just post here, because shelleon is my friend and we sort of joined together, in the hopes of meeting others and becoming more active in the community. I'm 23, but you might say that my background in the gay community is more 'old school'; I fell asleep with books about Stonewall on my chest and hung out with drag queens who had to turn tricks in order to afford their makeup. I'm from the US dirty South and learned a thing or two about violence in my youth, including how to fight back. I'm bi-racial and as staunchly passionate about federal BIA reform and reservation repair as I am about egalitarian civil rights. Now I'm kind of done with the world and live out in Farmland, Middle of Nowhere USA on my own property, where I'm trying to build a small off-grid sustainable homestead. Hi.
