Hey all! I've never joined a forum like this (or any forum, really) but it's probably a good idea for me! To break it all down, I'm a gay transguy. It's been very confusing for me, since I've basically been in the closet with both of those things until I fiiiinally came out as trans in November of 2012. Back then, I was in a relationship with my ex-girlfriend (yep, girlfriend) until I came out as transgender - in which she did not accept or support, so I ended the relationship. After starting hormones and whatnot, I attempted to continue masquerading as a now "straight male" by pursuing up to two short-lived relationships. Let's just say it didn't end well for either of us :dry: SO ANYWAYS (sorry, I tend to ramble :rolle ... After being interested (mentally and physically) in men for as long as I can remember (both before and after the hormones) all I can do now is be exactly who I am. 100%. That's what brings me here. Unfortunately I'm not out 100% to anyone except my mom and best friend. It's like I'm really uncomfortable "admitting" either one (being trans, or, being gay). I'd really REALLY like to be able to talk to people who accept EVERY thing about me, without feeling like I'm withdrawn/hiding something/really nervous about it. So yeah! Hi. Brilliant having you here on EC. Please, please, don't feel nervous, shy or uncomfortable "admitting" about being trans or gay. You are going through a lot and it's no wonder you are confused. I've been confused just realising I'm bisexual, which wasn't that long ago really. You're not rambling at all, you're mssage is great, and I have massive respect for people like yourself.
