Hi.. Another new member here...

    I'm from Malaysia, and I'm gay.
    I've never told anyone about my sexual orientation, not a single living person knows about this.
    My parents are very conservative and I'm just very afraid of telling them this.
    Well, I just found this forum just now. I was browsing through google to find another forum. I was a member of the "a lonely life" forum before cause I'm always feeling lonely. This gay thing has really isolated me from my friends. I can't tell them I'm gay cause that will drive ALL THE WORLD away from me. Sometimes it's just feels hard to connect with them, cause, I don't know, I just feel like there is no one around me that I can talk to and be completely open with. I feel so lonely everyday.
    Anyway....I'm hoping to make some friends here, friends that are well, gay too...

    welcome on board, we're all very friendly and can normally help :slight_smile: Don't think many of us should have a problem with you being gay... :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:
    just post all over the place (within reason), it's the best way to get known, make friends, get help and have fun, and I hope we live up to your requirements :wink:

    don't worry about coming out to anyone yet; we'll help you formulate plans to talk to people if you want

    First of all, a big happy and huggy Hellooooo! :grin: (*hug*) Welcome to EC! It is seriously the best site for support and advice, fun and socialising. There is a lot of people on here who love to chat and help in any shape or form. I'm happy for you to post a message on my wall if you want anything :slight_smile:

    Secondly, (and I know this may sound weird), but many members can say that their friends have been the most supportive people, so you never know... as they say, nothing's impossible! I honestly think that not everyone you know will suddenly blank you, just keep being the friend you are, and some day, an opportune moment will come along. Like Trystan said, don't feel rushed in coming out.

    Hmmmmm, yeah, I hope you won't be so lonesome anymore; everyone on here is so friendly :slight_smile:

    must be hard huh? i'm from Indo btw!
    and yeah it's hard... MY parents are probably conservative too... well, we're all here to support you! and I haven't been proactive in finding friends but I'm trying now =)
