twenty-nine year old freelance artist and illustrator hovering somewhere in between society and my bedroom. i doodle and sometimes vomit up words that vaguely resemble poetry. i'm pretty isolated and struggling with a variety of issues involving addiction and sexuality so i'll appreciate making any kind of connection here with anyone who gets it.
Welcome! There are lots of people here working on both of the issues you're facing. There's also a lot of evidence that many addictions are a means of numbing sexual feelings for people struggling with sexual orientation... so working on one may help you with the other. In any case, you're totally in the right place. Please feel free to talk about what's bothering you, what the struggles are with addiction, and so forth. Sharing (in a safe place) the shameful things we have going on is the single best way of helping ourselves to move forward and heal.
