new to the site...hello all

    hello im 25yrs old live with a roommate on my own.and
    Well, i think im gay and i really have no idea what to do...
    i mean no one knows, though i think everyone in my life would be fine with it im not sure i am. ive gotten a few phone numbers to call "helplines" and i dont know what to say, hell this note is taking like a half and hour for a few sentences, i'd take forever on the phone and i dont like wasting peoples time. its just getting harder and harder to hide. i catch myself looking TO LONG at a guy walking down the street, friends trying to set me up on dates, being alone... its really hard. i dont even know where id find other guys that feel this way in person, and im pretty sure im not really for gay bar.like id know were one is. ive even been ask on dates from guys i thought were attractive and i shot them down "sorry really flatter but not into guys." it just be nice to have someone to talk to whos been there.
    i just wish i wasnt so freaked out, scared.

    Feel free to talk to me, we've all been at this point. If your gay, thats fine, bi thats fine, straight its also fine. I'm here to listen and so is everyone else. Not every gay likes the gay scene either just so you know.

    Thinks take time, you're 25 still young, some people on here didn't come out till their 40's.

    thanks a lot for all your replies, they really helped. it was the first time ive ever expressed my feelings about my being gay openly at all. And all of your comments really clam me down.
    i plan on sticking around the site for a while.

    weho being west hollywood i wouldnt know where to go... and walking into a gay bar alone id have no idea what to do...

    walk down santa monica blvd. starting from roberston blvd. then go east, there's tons of bars there. and i know friends who have gone alone and have had a blast. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

    yeah, I'm practically the same about other guys - catch myself looking too long... sometimes they catch me too lol. But people are more accepting than you might think :grin:

    Hey welcome to EC! And congrats on the step to understanding who you are! Don't worry there are a lot of people here who u can talk with, to get advice or to just vent. But I personally wanted to say if u need someone to talk to then just talk to me! :grin: cause I just rercently came out so I know what you're going through, and it ok you just need to be yourself.
