I`m also back!

lol I just saw another ``I`m back`` post.

I also thought it would be appropriate to write my post on the welcome page. I haven`t been here in about a year. More than a year ago, thanks to EC I was able to come out. I had a really good coming out experience and have since been in a relationship with my partner for 11 months.

Now, I`ve come back for a different issue that I am facing. My partner has come out to me as being transgender. Hopefully we can get some interesting discussions started on being in a relationship with a trans person. I`ve done a lot of research and unfortunately support for trans people is hard to get by!

Yah I know there are so many sub categories it`s crazy! lol She is biologically female but would like to be considered male. She is unsure if she wants to go through surgery/hormone therapy since she already passes. And she does not yet want pronoun change. She`s still pretty confused about what she wants and feels very alone

I had a bad reaction when she came out. I didn`t understand and I didn`t do my research. I have since come a long way but my initial reaction has had a negative impact on how she feels towards me. Things don`t look good right now. Anywho, I will make a post soon on the support section! :smilewave
