Howdy. New here (cue the "duh's"). Glad to be in a place that I can find a little support. Hope to be as helpful as possible to others. Kept it inside for so very long. Only a handful knew. A few extra people have been added to the list of who knows I am gay and it just feels so good to tell people. I have a husband and children, and am committed. But it's so nice to not have to have a secret. My closest family and friends know now, and even though that doesn't change very much about how I will live my life, it feels so good to get it out.

I can imagine how elating and relieving it must feel to be able to share this part of who you are with people, and I'm very glad you've been able to do that. Welcome to the community. Welcome! I agree with what JB2015 said. It does feel so good to tell people and not repress my feelings and who I am as much as I used to. Glad you are here.
