Hi, I guess. I'm part of this forum now, and I have no idea why. Yes, I am gay. Bisexual, to be exact. But, I just don't have a clue what I expect to accomplish by joining this forum in the first place. I guess I just want to connect with people, or whatever. And my first discovery upon joining here is that the chat room is "not usable by Regular Members". I don't suppose there's a way I can become able to use the chat room? Not that it matters. I don't know what I would say even if I could get into the chat room. Everything sucks, and I can't get any social interaction to help me feel better. This post will probably be ignored too. Ugh, what am I even doing here? -_-
Aww don't feel bad >.< you can connect with people by friend requests & wall messages (I think you need to have at least 10 posts or something to post on walls though) but it's worth it & you can access the chat room when you become a full member. Don't feel discouraged. I hope you can find the help you need.
I love this website because it's a little safe space for me to talk about stuff without being judged or ignored. Everyone here is so nice, and it's great to know that there are people who want to help you when you're struggling. EC is a great place, just stick around a bit longer and you'll see what I mean.

Hey, contrary to what your username means, I actually am reminded of Anathema Device from the novel by Neil Gaiman called "Good Omens". Your post won't be ignored. It takes effort to get integrated into the forums but people here are nice. You should come and post on other boards when you feel like it. Anyway, welcome to EC. I hope you find a reason to stay. Hi, Anathema. I'm new too here, don't exactly know what to do, but I start to read the threads. It has some interesting topics. :3 And the members are nice!
My welcome email said two weeks and fifty posts to become that higher level of member, and be able to chat. It's very hard for me because I'm mostly a lurker. But I am forcing myself to post and realizing, if 50 posts and only two weeks are needed, they must want me to talk a LOT! So just thinking of it that way is helping me open up more. I guess the whole point of being out of the closet is being able to be open about oneself .... hey, epiphany! Stick around - very nice folks here.

Hi Anthaema I'm a newbie as well, but its good to see some of the posts on the forums and theres lots of support on here I think. I hope you find what you're looking for, I want to keep posting so that I can go on the chats as well.
