    Hey guys,
    I'm 17, gay, and still in the closet. I've told a lot of my friends, more than I count, but I'm still very secretive about it, largely because I don't want my parents to know. I'm frustrated because I want a relationship but I don't want to come out of the closet until I graduate from high school. The only person I've told in my family is my oldest brother (he's 21) and his advice was "don't tell mom."
    I don't know what I want to do with my life, but I know that I want to do it openly and not in the closet past a certain point...
    I like to write, act, read, etc. I try to get exercise a few times a week (run etc.) but I'm not very good at making myself do that.
    That's all I can think of to put here for right now. So I'm going to wrap this post up.

    Coming out to the parents is the hardest. It's different with friends. Parents --- it's just another animal haha

    I'd wait until after high school myself. Kids are still cruel at that age. College is WAY more accepting, and you generally don't have those little cliques of people judging you like high school. If there are, they usually keep to themselves. Plus, there's way more fish in the sea when you get there.

    hey i have the same problem as you i dont want to tell my parents that i am gay i am probably going to tell them when i also graduate, i am 16 and i have a few hobbies. I wrestle, i read books, i some what exircise but not that much.
