Please excuse the awkward introduction I always get nervous when joining new sites! :eek: I'm Sarah, 24 years old and from Wales, UK. I first came out as gay when I was 16 to some friends and family who fortunately took the news reasonably well. Although I'm happy with the select few people I'd come out to, my decision to mention my sexuality on a need-to-know bases has meant that my LGBT+ circle is rather small and though I have a gay male friend and a FtM trans friend, I almost never chat with them anymore since they've moved on with their lives and so has left me in an awkward situation where I have no one to just be 'me' around. Kind of hard to discuss lesbian things with your mother who's most definitely straight and seems to look like she's going to barf at the mention of two of the same sex being together, if you know what I mean. Hobbies and interests mainly include photography, the outdoors, gaming and listening to music. Favourite TV programs consist of Arrow, Lost Girl, The Walking Dead, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Orphan Black and a few others. I probably missed a fair few things but questions are always welcome!
