    Hi Eleanor! Welcome to Empty Closets. Hope you will enjoy your visits to the community.

    Writer's block is never fun to have. I find that listening to classical or instrumental music or writing in a different place (i.e. a coffee shop) helps me to overcome it when it sets in. Sometimes just brainstorming on new ideas or just listening to conversations can help too. :slight_smile:

    Hello,

    If you have writers block then try writing every single day. It doesn't matter what it is, just write something, anything. And then maybe you can highlight the words that mean the most, put them into a poem or something and if you're a novelist then extend it from there, maybe take each line as a chapter.
