Hey everyone! Hi, Im 15, and i just wanna know if there's a way to stop fancying straight people? It's just so hard to stop liking them when in your eyes they're all so perfect. And everyone knows what happens when you like a straight guy, it always ends badly as it'll never happen So, I just wanna ask fo tips to stop liking them? It's hard to stop your attraction towards people you like. Just be realistic about it, if you know they're straight, don't chase them. It's hard, we can help who we're attracted to, but why not try to join an LGBT community in your local area and meet a few bi or gay guys. Oh and welcome to EC!
I know how you feel. All the straight people are hot. But then again, a lot of straight people think that gay people are hot, so maybe we all want what we can't have.
Welcome to EC. I think it's easy to like straight men because there are so damn many of them around. When you don't know many gay gays, it stands to reason that you might begin to focus attention on straight guys instead. It's not because they are any better looking, it's just because they are there. It's important to realise that no good will come of pursuing a guy who isn't into other guys. Another thing is to focus on the whole person, rather than what they look like. Lots of people look good, but if/when you get to know them you may uncover some pretty ugly personal flaws and habits that will almost certainly be a turn off. As you come out more and mix more widely within the LGBT community you will find guys who are into other guys who are just as hot. Actually, the best men are always gay.
