I am an individual whose sexual orientation is heterosexual heteroromantic, or as one would coloquially state,"straight," albeit I wil admit that I occasionally feel biromantic. Question: Assuming that the ball will disintegrate or fuse with air molecules on Earth, what would occur if an individual threw a ball at 92% of light speed in space and near a black hole? Discuss.
Uh... Um... Science stuff would happen? ---------- Post added 13th Dec 2015 at 04:09 PM ---------- Jesus, you're too smart. T_T
Hello friend! Welcome to EC! Glad to have you with us. this is a wonderful place to talk about....well...pretty much whatever! I hope you enjoy your stay! You, sir, are entirely too smart for your or anyone's good. Use it wisely.
I'm not much into astrophysics but I love quantum physics. Ummm if you threw something with a velocity as high as that, by the frame of referance of the ball, time would seem to slow down, and gravity would start getting stronger. Moreover as you are throwing it near a blackhole, the gravitation is high already so I guess the particles will overcome their repulsions, overcome the Pauli's exclusion principle and fall into itslef. Again, this is not my field, all that is patchwork
