My name is Leon. I am confused about my sexual orientation.; I have known this for a while. I am 19. I am a male. I go to a community college. I'm not very good at introducing myself on here.

I've had straight and gay feelings. I have had two female crushes. Then, I remember having all sorts of romantic feelings for the same and opposite sexes. I think my sexuality/sexual orientation is fluid. It has changed multiple times for me.

Hi Leon welcome to EC! :icon_bigg

Could you possibly be bisexual? I know for a lot of people being bi doesn't always mean its 50/50. Orientation can be extremely fluid it changes for a lot of people it seems. I really hope everyone on EC can help you figure out your sexual orientation! (*hug*)

I could possibly be bisexual. But most people believe that bisexuals don't exist so at this point in my life, I identify as confused.

    Hi, Leon.

First, bisexuals most certainly exist. It's a well studied group. The reason that many people think it does not is because many people use it as a "bridge" identity while they are figuring themselves out. (Today, it's more common for people to claim a different romantic vs sexual orientation, for which there's zero evidence, to do the same thing.)

But bisexuality, at least in the sense of equal attraction to men and women, is less common than identifying toward one end of the spectrum or the other. So what might be helpful here is to look at where your attractions and sexual arousal lie.

When you masturbate without porn, what sort of fantasies do you have? Girls? Guys? Both? And if you masturbate without porn, and without thinking about anything specifically, what comes to mind first? Guys or girls? Likewise, if you're wandering on the street, and letting your eyes wander, are they more likely to notice guys or girls?

Answering these questions can really help you understand better where your attraction and orientation lie. Keep in mind... as you're figuring yourself out, things can shift a bit because denial and bargaining can get in the way, but it definitely becomes clearer the more you give it time.

Thank you so much. The information here was very informative. These were good questions. Thank you for letting me know bisexuals exist. Sometimes, I feel attracted sexually mostly to guy and sometimes to girls. Sometimes, I feel attracted romantically and emotionally to girls and sometimes to guys.

It is very possible that I'm bisexual.
