I understand why you're nervous. I'm in the same boat; however it took me a lot longer than 4 years. I actually "shut down" for over 10 years to avoid facing that part of me. Only recently have I accepted it. Joining this site was difficult because it meant "accepting" it; and thus far I've seen that I am not alone. Can't give you any advice, but I can just let you know that you're not alone...many of us have similar experiences, which is rather reassuring. This proves that I am not crazy. Lol!!
