Hello everyone. I am somewhat new to this kind of online sharing thing so please bear with me. I have known I was different my whole life and recently came to terms with my sexuality as a gay male. Entering college has allowed me to see other people who fully accept themselves as they are and have helped me to finally find the courage to come out to my parents and sisters this past October on National Coming Out Day. I am completely blessed to say that they accept and support me and are even interested in attending Pride Parade with me one of these years. With that said, I still have a long road ahead of me as far as coming out to other people in my life. (especially my extended family who don't seem to support the LGBT community as much) I guess I wanted to join this site because I am looking for a community that understands what it is like to experience what I have been experiencing my whole life and hopefully even make some new friends along the way. I want to use this site as a way to track my progress in not only fully coming out but with dealing with everything else that is going on in my life. I want to help others as well so we can grow together!
