Hello everyone--I am a 24-year-old college graduate from Nevada. I currently attend graduate school. I am not sure whether or not I am truly LGBT, but I am at least questioning. I have considered labeling myself "asexual" or "demisexual" but I do not know how accurate these would be for me either. That said, I've always been passionately in favor of LGBT rights and find myself getting defensive whenever they are attacked, so I do seem to feel some attachment to the LGBT community even if I've never really been a "member". As such, I have had little to no means of speaking to other LGBT people. Other forums I am a member of have very few LGBT members and the ones who are rarely discuss anything pertinent to LGBT rights. So that is why I decided to join. Sorry that's not much personal information--in general I'm shy and cautious about giving away personal information, but I can answer any questions about myself if you have them.
Hey! Welcome to EC! I've seen lots of asexual threads on here so you're not alone! Would I be right in saying Nevada is where Las Vegas is??
Welcome to the community! Eh - don't sell yourself short; Reno is a fun place. Plenty of casinos without all of the "Vegas Crowds." Though, admittedly, my experience of Reno is (for the most part) limited to watching that ridiculous TV show from the mid-2000s: Reno 911.
Thank you. I actually enjoy Reno 911!, even if it is filmed in L.A. Vegas is a fun place to visit, but I'd rather live here any day.
Welcome to the forum! A big reason why I joined myself is because there's not a lot of forums out there that focus as much on LGBT people as this one does.
Thanks Justin. My name is Miles, by the way, if anyone wishes to address me that way. But typically I do just go by my handle on whatever site I end up joining.
