It's always hard starting an introduction, espacially if you have to use a different language from yours, isn't it? So why am I here and not on an italian lgbt forum? Well... I don't know. I've just prefered this one. in particular because it's full of people belonging to different coutries: I thought it would be amazing join you. So... here I am. By the way, I'm Inis and I'm 22. I live near Rome and I'm attending a master degree course in Deviances and Sexuology. But this is not what I am, but what I do. Theatre, Cinema, Arts is what I truly LOVE. I'm fond of tv series and watching a film on the sofa with a beer and pizza is my ideal of "perfect evening". I'm romantic, am I? :icon_bigg I'm glad being a part of this. Have a good day.
Welcome to our community. Please don't be afraid to join discussions. You might even find some fellow Italians. This is a very friendly group of people and I'm sure you'll love it here.
Hey there, it's very nice to meet you! I'm part Italian, well actually half Sicilian, yeah, I know, the poor part! I only speak a bit of Italian, hardly any, but I think it's an amazing country, and despite it's problems, a place of proud, passionate, wonderful people. And a few jerks, like anywhere. Ah, so you like Itainain Cinema? I very much love the 'classics', and am a huge fan. It's hard to say who I like best, but maybe Vittorio DeSica. But also Fellini, Pier Paolo Passolini, Antoioni, and Ettore Scola. I love good film, and Italy has it in spades. If you have any more, or more recent suggestions, I'd love to hear them. Welcome aboard, and don't be shy! Do you plan to make your own films, and what are some of your favorites? Edit: I also read a lot of modern Italian stuff, in translation: Steffano Benni, and I love Andrea Camilleri.
Wow! Hi guys! Good morning! Here is 11.11 a.m, but I think there is later so...good evening or good InsertTheHoursHere I'll try, willa. I'm just afraid of not being clear when I use english. But I'll try: promise! Sicily it is a beautiful place. I've been there just once in my life, but I still remember its sea. You know, Italy is going to face an important historical period during these days: the senate is discussing about the approvation of civil unions for gay people, because Italy is the latest country, belonging to Europe, that doesn't still have a law for it. It's very sad see how many days have to pass for the final decision, considering the law should have been approved almost two last weeks. How is it going there? How gay people live in your country? Thanks for all the answers!
Well, well, well, Inis... Be very welcome, ragazza... I'm crazy about Fellini (among other things *cough* beauty in general *cough*), and I'll manage to get a decent cam, a nice crew and finally go down to business and film my script... One of them at least... Make yourself at home...
