Hi all! As you can probably see by my post count/join date, I was a fairly active member a while back. Coming back now, I realise I don't recognise most of you, so I figured I'd introduce myself I'm Oliver, a transguy from New Zealand. I have my first endo appointment in just over a month, which is scary and exciting! I study, I like music, and I'm once more questioning my sexuality. I've missed EC, and hopefully I can be a useful part of the community. Feel free to message me any time, I don't bite, and I'll try remember to reply!
Wb, Oliver! I remember you (at least as Fairybread) from my first month or two here, shortly, I believe, before you disappeared. Good to see you again!
Welcome back! The first appointment can be really scary, but it is a huge step! I hope that it goes well for you!
Thanks biAnnika! I actually remember you too Thanks BradTheCat! I also remember you, but I think you were a different colour when I left I think the scariest part for me is I don't know exactly what will happen - I'm being referred to a different hospital, as my local one isn't currently accepting referrals, and no one I know has been there, so no one knows what the process is. I'm hoping for reandron (nibido), as that's an injection less often, supposedly has better peaks/troughs than the other publicly funded one, and I'm largely incapable of self-injecting - perhaps because it seems too similar to self harm (something ive not done in a couple years). And thanks killswitch0029 and hawk! I look forward to interacting with you around the forum
Welcome back, Oliver... I'm a new gal here but glad to have you back regardless! Sending you positive vibes for your appointment!
You're welcome! I was probably in red when you left, we did some restructering on the staff team, so my color changed. (At least it's not red and green both, otherwise it would look like I was constantly celebrating Christmas...lol.) I have to do weekly self injections. The first few times of doing it is super scary, but once you get the hang of it, it's not as bad. I also have my partner help me out when I am not able to do it. So, it's always good to have a backup plan as well.
