Hey I'm Margo and I've been obsessively reading this forum for the past...let's just say two months as an estimate. It's has been very, very helpful for me as I was confused out of my mind when it came to my own gender. I identified as gender-fluid for a while before realizing that trans just fit me better. I'm currently out to my daddy (as gender-fluid) but I don't think he's quite understood what I was trying to tell him nor does he think of me as a daughter (Honestly, I think he's already forgotten about it). So I've come here to meet people who understand me and will give me advice on how to handle these types of conversations and just life in general (Mostly trans related stuff though). :smilewave
Hello Margo, welcome to the community! I am glad to read that the forum has been helpful to you, and that you have decided to join the forum.
Heyo, and welcome to the forum Margo! I see you're in this weird state too, hopefully up towards the upper areas, because down here... holy cheese and sprinkles. People here act like it's Russia sometimes, so I just stay indoors. Don't know what it is with most southern fathers but they all seem to come around last, however intriguing it is, it might just be bad luck. Maybe your dad will realize you're his daughter eventually, I know it's quite different case by case.
I live close to Atlanta (specifically Duluth) Where I live is surprisingly LGBT friendly but I've heard not so good things about the rest of the state. Thank goodness that one bill got vetoed. I'll probably be moving back to Europe after high school anyway.
