Hello. I'm a trans boy. Trans things: I’m pre-T and pre-op. I have my first appointment in June. I’m terrified that I won’t pass the real-life experience checks, as I’ve only been 'officially' living as male since April. I’ve been told I pass, but only by trans activists. I’m constantly mistaken for a girl. I live with a very unsupportive family, and cannot wait to move out. Health things: I’m not exactly a shining model of health, let’s leave it at that. I’m legally disabled and unable to work. Other things: I’m obsessed with music, and the written word in all its forms. I write and play music, collect records, and am (save me) becoming an audiophile. I write poetry, short stories, essays/articles, and dabble in other forms of writing. Other interests: history, cinema, photography, language and linguistics, organic chemistry, art (I’m a collage and watercolour artist), psychiatry and psychology, neurology, religions, and the occult.
Don't worry about passing to be put on T. They don't look for that at all, its more about being out as your real gender identity and not about whether other people view you as male. June is so close though! Where did you get referred? I'm not getting to a GIC for another year yet. And hey we've got some of the same interests.
