I just wanted to say, "Hi,Hi" to everyone. I only recently, as in... Well, mainly today found this site. I had been a member once to a similar site under a different name, sadly that site has long since dissipated and been shut down. Faded over the years. Anyways, I read a few posts that struck a nerve in me and I felt maybe it could do me some good. I have been living with some room mates this past year. A heterosexual couple and their two kids 5 and 7. Sorry, didn't really have another way to put it. Needless to say without Internet this past year and my dwindling friends, let alone the friends within the lgbt community either online or in person is almost nonexistent. I don't necessarily have to hide who I am to them or the children, we're very open. But, I sometimes feel like I am smothering. It's not so much loneliness or companionship, but at the same time it is. There isn't much of an lgbt community where I live. So, this is a grand solace to find an outlet albeit online. So, again... I just wanted to say "Hi". :smilewave
Thanks to you all for welcoming me! So far I enjoy it! I didn't realize how much I missed the site I used to go till finding this one and I feel that EC will be very helpful to me in the coming days and months!
