Hi. I'm an 18 year old newb. On the internet I go by Smurphinator or Smurph, not "Smurf," because I am not a little blue person. <-- This is, but this is not me. Anyway, I use he/him pronouns. I am still deeply in the closet. I didn't really know that trans was a thing for a while, and once I found out a few years ago I put that in the "Things that I must not think about ever" box... But that hasn't been going super hot this past year. My situation is sort of a Catch 22, where I feel uncomfortable getting outside help because I don't pass (Or more that I look way too female), but in order for me to pass I would have to tell people I'm trans, which I'm not comfortable with doing until I have some kind of outside safety system in place. So... The internet. If my avatar isn't enough evidence, I'm a nerd. No, seriously. Anything nerdy you can think of, there I am. BAM. Except Doctor Who, still haven't been able to get into it. Enough about me. How're you all doing this fine evening?
:welcome: Hello there, Smurph! I love your name! My name's Sydney, I just sent you a friend request. Any time you want to talk to someone, just drop me a message. I'm usually very late to reply, though, so be warned. Hope you're having a nice day!
Ooookay. Doctor Who is a requisite for me to like you. (Just kidding. But I really love Doctor Who.) Welcome I hope this is as useful to you as it was to me back in the day. My issues weren't so difficult as I am cisgender and my family was more or less welcoming (my father still doesn't talk about the issue 9 years and 4 boyfriends later), but it certainly gives you relief.
Thank you all for the welcome. It seems I've officially triggered multiple people on EC through my TV preferences
