Hi everyone, So... I decided to join this forum because a friend recently came out as gay. I completely support them 100% but I know they have found things really difficult. I am an extremely liberal person and believe that everyone should be treated equally...I know that sounds lame but recently I have experienced people showing hostility towards others who they consider to be different and it really angers me. Anyway, my point is that I wanted to join a community, I guess to show my support, to gain advice for my friend, and to become more understanding. Look forward to spending time here
Welcome Thanks for being a supporter! The thing to remember is that everyone is part of some minority. By standing up for a minority that you are not a part of you are standing up for all minorities (including the one you belong to [good friends are a small percentage of the worlds population :eusa_clap]). Do join in the forums and become part of our community, hopefully you’ll enjoy the experience. (*hug*)
